Dance Talks: a networking event for dance professionals
We are so happy to announce that on November 26th we are organizing the first-ever ‘Dance Talks’! ‘Dance Talks’ is a networking event for dancers, teachers, makers, movers, and all others involved in the sector… as long as you know how to move you are more than welcome!
We created ‘Dance Talks’ because there really aren’t any casual networking events in our sector. Fancy galas, crowded festivals, or after-parties at theatres just aren’t cutting it. It’s time for a new kind of meeting space for all of us dance professionals to connect. [insert Dance Talks]
Besides an amazing venue and a cozy vibe to welcome all of you, there will also be some activities on the program; ‘Speeddates’, ‘Talks’, workshops, and in all dance fashion, a good closing party!
And really, our doors are open for every dance professional from any background and dance style/genre. We believe in the power of exchange!
Dance Talks is a concept by Freelancer Talk, which was created by a group of freelance dancers. Our mission is to create more connections between people working in the Arts & Culture.
Oh, and because nobody likes to network on an empty stomach, we’ve included Catering in the ticket price ✌🏼
Dance Talks is sponsored by the Henny Jurriëns Stichting and supported by Cafe Belcampo, Medisch Dans Netwerk NL, and Lanced.

Arjan Kokshoorn
Sports Doctor
I worked for many years as a sports doctor for ArtEZ Dance Academy, during a period in which customization, innovation and working within a network became important. I have seen the (improved) care surrounding the dancer grow.
This accumulated knowledge and experience in the field of dance medical care I like to deploy where you as a dancer are central and quality and speed are important. I see the connection with my own region and (independent) dance institutes as a great challenge.
