Last Friday Facebook announced their all-in-one business manager called the Facebook Business Suite, and it's making life a lot easier for Freelancers and small business owners like us! Over the weekend I took my time to explore its features, get myself familiar and lastly try them out.

Honestly, I'm sold!

If you haven't tried out the Facebook Business Suite or if you're wondering what it exactly is. Then keep on reading, cause I'm going to give you a quick rundown of all its tools and features!

Facebook & Instagram

First of all, it's worth mentioning the Business Suite is meant for businesses. To make the Business Suite work, you'll need a Facebook Business page that's connected to an Instagram Business account.

The Business Suite is designed to quickly and easily manage both your Facebook page and Instagram account from one single place.

Here are the most important features you need to know about:

Create, Schedule & Publish

You're able to create a post within the Business Suite and publish it directly to FB and IG. On top of that, it is also possible to schedule your post for both platforms.

I've written an article before about using a social media planner, and personally I'll stick to my own. But, if you don't want to use a third-party tool, then using the Business Suite will do just fine!

See activities that matter most

Since Facebook took over Instagram and Whatsapp, they've been talking about creating an all-in-one crossover messenger. The Business Suite is the first step in that direction, but also delivers more than just a crossover messenger platform.

The Business Suite allows you to receive messages and notifications from both connected platforms in one place! It makes it easier for us business owners to quickly communicate with costumers on both platforms from one center.

The feature I was more hyped about was setting up my auto-response. Auto-response has been available for Facebook but I haven't been seeing it on Instagram. When people start to talk to you on IG or FB messenger, they will receive an automated response message from you. The message is also fully customizable to your liking.

Get cross-platform insights

Not only are you able to manage your posts and manage your messages... but you're also able to find all your insights in just one place.

Having all these insights in just one place is great. Especially because it'll make it a lot easier for you to compare your insights of the two platforms and make some changes in your strategies. Remember, if you want to be successful on these two platforms, or within any social media platform, insights are your best friend!

Grow your audience

Boost a Facebook post or create an Instagram Ad to reach more audiences and get more engagement. The new Business Suite makes it possible to do all of this in just one single place.

If you're not sold yet, I challenge you to just take a look at the Business Suite. Freelancers and self-employed like you and I don't always have time to handle all of these different apps and social media platforms we are using for our business. With the development of the Business Suite, Facebook plays in on the need for cross-platform management and insights and makes our lives definitely a little easier!

The Business Suite has an easily accessible desktop version and functions through the Facebook Page Manager app available on Android & IOS.
